Our Mission
Best S.T.E.P. Forward aims to achieve a play-based approach using Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), where children build social, behavioral, and communication skills in a fun, engaging, and socially rich enviornment.
What do sessions look like?
Our sessions are conducted throughout our expansive facility which we use to introduce group-based experiences using our sensory fitness gym to incorporate sports, music circle, art workshops, and creative play spaces to serve as dynamic tools to teach critical developmental skills, build authentic social connections, and foster meaningful peer interactions for our clients.
Learning and exploring
We believe that children learn best through play and exploration, which is why we incorporate naturalistic teaching strategies grounded in evidence-based ABA principles. In using approaches such as Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Pivotal Response Training (PRT), and Incidental Teaching, we focus on child-led interests that naturally motivate learning and encourage skills across various settings.
The heart of our program is committed to making learning enjoyable for all our clients as we believe that when children are having fun, they are more open to learning and growing.
