Board Member

BSF Committee Member. Reside in Imperial, CA. Raised in Heber.
RN trained at Imperial Valley College; 15 years in Emergency Care.
Human Biology B.A. from Stanford University. MBA & MSN from Grand Canyon University.

Bio mama to 2, and bonus mama to my beautiful stepdaughter. My son was diagnosed with hearing
impairment and autism. Nurse by trade, currently working at the local prison. Joined BSF to help bridge
the gap from diagnosis to finding your niche in the community.

Finding the BSF Family has helped my family be a part of something that gives back to the underserved
special needs community in the Imperial Valley. I felt at a loss for the first few years after diagnosis,
unknowingly sheltering my baby, until I was comfortable in the community and now I reach out to
anyone I can about services and programs available. We’re all in this together.
